As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis will have to wait a little longer for the next step in his solicitation of murder trial.
According to Lambgoat.com, the rocker was in a Southern California courtroom Wednesday for a "readiness conference" related to his upcoming trial for allegedly attempting to hire a hitman to kill his estranged wife. But Lambesis was never called forward, and the prosecutor said that proceedings have been delayed until February 6th "for further negotiations."
Lambgoat notes that the delay may mean the two sides are trying to avoid a trial by hammering out a plea deal.
